Calling all Soul Reapers! Bleach is returning to the video game world with a brand new 3D fighting game, Bleach: Rebirth of Souls. Announced by Bandai Namco at Anime Expo 2024, Rebirth of Souls will follow the original Bleach storyline and feature iconic characters like Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, and Byakuya Kuchiki.

A two-minute trailer showcased during the event offered a taste of the action. Fans can expect to unleash powerful sword abilities like Bankai and witness Ichigo's transformation with his Hollow mask.

The official description promises "thrilling action-packed battles" and the ability to "unlock new forms in battle to claim victory."

While a release date remains under wraps ("coming soon"), Bandai Namco confirmed Rebirth of Souls will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.

This marks Bleach's first standalone game by Bandai Namco, adding to the franchise's long history of video game appearances.
