Gameplay Mechanics

In Ballistic, two teams of five players alternate between attacking and defending roles. The attacking team aims to plant a 'Rift Point Device' at designated sites, while defenders strive to prevent its deployment or defuse it within a 45-second window if planted. Teams switch sides after six rounds, and the first team to secure seven rounds claims victory. 

A unique economy system allows players to earn credits through eliminations and objective completions, which can be spent on weapons and equipment in subsequent rounds. Surviving a round enables players to retain their gear, offering a strategic advantage and encouraging careful play.

Weaponry and Gadgets

Ballistic features a diverse arsenal, including assault rifles, shotguns, submachine guns, sniper rifles, and handguns. Players can also equip default gadgets like smoke and stun grenades, along with a selection of 'Flex Gadgets' such as:

• Proximity Mine: A damaging device attachable to surfaces.
• Bubble Shield: A temporary barrier impervious to bullets and projectiles.
• Recon Grenade: Detects nearby enemies, even through walls.
• Frag Grenade: An explosive device that can bounce off surfaces.
• Impulse Grenade: Launches enemies and allies away upon detonation.

Map and Modes

At launch, Ballistic will feature a single map named 'Skyline 10', designed to accommodate the mode's tactical gameplay. Two playlists will be available:

• Ranked: A competitive mode with penalties for leaving matches and a three-minute reconnection window for disconnected players.
• Unranked: A casual mode without penalties, ideal for practice and familiarization.
