New gameplay footage confirms the towering fighter retains his space-controlling Tiger Shot and devastating Tiger Uppercut, but with a twist: His iconic Tiger Knee Crush now uses a quarter-circle forward input instead of the classic dragon punch motion - a callback to its earliest iterations.

Early footage showcases Sagat’s punishing range and damage output, emphasizing his ability to dominate matches without heavy meter reliance. His new special move, Tiger Nexus, offers three follow-up options (Tiger Might, Tiger Greed, Tiger Nova) for mix-ups and launchers, while the Savage Tiger Level 2 Super Art branches into four brutal finishers based on directional inputs.

Players get two outfits: a reimagined dark look and his classic Street Fighter II trunks, alongside the serene Proud Spire stage featuring a Thai temple backdrop. Versus screens capture Sagat’s 7.5-foot frame and rare smirk, contrasting his typically stoic demeanor.

Releasing alongside swimsuit-themed Outfit 4 for seven fighters, Sagat kicks off a DLC roster including C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid. The Muay Thai emperor arrives August 5 on all platforms.
