Capcom has just unveiled the highly anticipated gameplay trailer for Terry Bogard, the legendary fighter from the Fatal Fury series, set to join the roster of Street Fighter 6. The trailer, which premiered during Gamescom's Opening Night Live event, gives fans a first look at how Terry will bring his iconic moves and style to the world of Street Fighter.

Terry's official debut in Street Fighter 6 is set for September 24, and it’s clear from the trailer that Capcom has gone all out to capture the essence of the beloved SNK character. Fans can watch the full trailer below and see Terry in action as he tears through the competition with his signature flair.

The trailer kicks off with Terry’s introduction in the game's single-player World Tour Mode. In this mode, players will visit the Pao Pao Cafe 6, a new location inspired by Fatal Fury, where other iconic SNK characters like Joe Higashi and Blue Mary make cameo appearances in the background. Not only is this a nostalgic nod to the Fatal Fury series, but the Pao Pao Cafe 6 will also be a brand-new playable stage in Street Fighter 6.

Terry comes equipped with a staggering seven different special attacks, allowing players to create devastating combos and juggles. In several scenes from the trailer, Terry can be seen launching his opponents into the air before continuing his assault with a series of brutal strikes.

Here’s a breakdown of the special moves Terry brings to the fight:

• Passing Sway: A unique target combo that shifts Terry to the back "lane" of the stage, before reappearing on either side of his opponent with Jumping Lariat or Jumping Knee. This mechanic is a direct homage to the Fatal Fury series.

• Power Wave: A ground-traveling fireball projectile with different speeds depending on the input, with the medium version creating a larger wave.

• Burn Knuckle: A forward-thrusting punch that closes distance quickly. The light version, Quick Burn, adds a hook followed by a downward punch that cannot be blocked while crouching.

• Buster Wolf: Terry’s Level 1 Super Art propels him forward with a powerful thrust, unleashing a blast of energy, and is invincible on start-up.

• Power Geyser: Terry’s Level 2 Super Art creates a volcanic explosion, sending opponents flying. It can be followed up with additional attacks by spending Drive and Super Art gauges.

• Rising Fang: Terry’s Level 3 Super Art delivers a deadly sequence of his iconic moves, culminating in a massive energy blast.

Terry also brings with him an alternate costume, featuring his brown jacket from Garou: Mark of the Wolves, a nod to his appearance in the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, set to release in early 2025.
